My 2017 Music Festival Guide.
With festival season on the horizon, and with Coachella in America already being here it's time to digest the many great festivals there are out there and condense them into a guide of the ones I'm excited about. Festivals are about wearing flowers in your hair, dancing until the early hours, wearing wellington boots and getting stuck into the fun. I wish I just had the unlimited funds to get more involved in the season, at least they're just as good watching them live from the comfort of your sofa or just do what I plan to do this year and hold your own festival at home whilst showing the action on your TV. At least then if it rains you won't have to worry about getting your feet wet.
I've scrolled the internet and used my own knowledge to gather a list of the music festivals that you've got to be looking out for this year.
Isle of Wight Festival
Seaclose Park, Newport.
8-11 June
I believe Isle of Wight to be up there as one of the festivals I MUST attend before I turn 30, there's something about it which draws me right into it's entire vibe. I've been having a peak into their headline act and I'm buzzing that this year they have the likes of Scouting for Girls, Rod Stewart and David Guetta performing over the weekend plus many more! They even had a Cirque de la Quirk stage which looks really creative and good fun too.

Worthy Farm, Somerset
21-25 June
I'm sure your not living under a rock when I mention this next festival. Glastonbury is a big thing in the music calendar as well as my own because every year I'll make sure to watch as much of the live feeds from this festival as possible. I absolutely love it, it's contemporary vibe with various performance acts running through the festival as well as some of the hottest music! This year's line up is no disappointment, with Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, London Grammar and Katy Perry getting in on the opportunity to perform as well as many more. Tickets are already sold out for this event but make sure you keep your eyes pealed for the action on BBC IPlayer in June because you won't want to miss it.

Lattitude Festival
Henham Park, Suffolk
13-16 July
This is a festival I haven't heard much about in the past but it looks incredible. Based in Suffolk this festival has all the good stuff a festival should have but also gives you an opportunity to also take a dip in the picturesque lake on site too! When it's boiling hot then this is the perfect activity right? Their line up for the festival this year is banging, with The 1975, Mumford and Sons and Fleet Foxes headlining during the weekend. There's also a cabaret on site where you can see a selection of the edgiest, funniest, most glamorous and most ridiculous acts to be found. It seems like such a fun festival and one I'd definitely love to attend at some point.

Wicked Hathern Festival
Dishley Grange Farm, Hathern, Leicestershire
11-12 August
This is actually the music festival held in the village I live and it's always a great event to attend at the end of summer. It's grown in size and interest over the past couple of years, not only does it have it's Main Stage but it also has an Acoustic Stage, Comedy Stage and Kids Stage too so it's great for the entire family to get involved with. I'm buzzing for this year's festival as they have the Hoosiers headlining on the Saturday evening as well as my favourites We Tried Kylie who perform some absolute corkers of throwback tunes!

Hylands Park and Weston Park,
19-20 August
V Festival occupies a twin site idea and was the first with the idea, way back in 1996. Ihe festival prides itself on being a friendly, safe atmosphere, free from mud and with an incredible all round atmosphere. This festival definitely has with it some of the biggest names in the music industry, I'm jealous of anybody who will be watching them in this festival. This year's line up includes the incredible Pink, Ellie Goulding, Jay Z and many many more!

Bestival
Lulworth Estate, Dorset
7-10 September
Having previously being held in it's location in the Isle of Wight this will be the first year in it's 13 years that it'll be held in Dorset. This location is already known to the festival organisers, their spin-off, children's festival Camp Bestival already takes place in this Dorset location each July. The organisers hope that this year's festival will have a planned capacity of 40,000 people this year! Included in their line up are Annie Mac and Rag'n'Bone Man. The festival looks a lot of fun and only 2 years ago won an award as Best Major Festival.
